Course overview, aim and structure
To ensure emergency training for aircrew helicopters, including use of the rescue sling. The aims and objectives of this training makes the flight personnel know and understand risks and dangers about the use of this equipment and the appropriate actions to be taken to ensure the safety of all those on board. 
The course is in Italian and, on request, in English.

Duration
4 hours.

Pre-requisites
Possess a valid, current medical certificate.

Course contents
The course focuses on the following elements (theory and practice):
• general information about the equipment on board of the helicopter to recovery the person from water (suit, mask, fins and rescue sling);
• general information about the rescue techniques (swim styles, diving, recovery of the personetc.);
• rescue techniques about the recovery of the person from water or from ship with rescue sling);
• characteristics and use of the Hi-line (if fitted).

Identity Card.

Certificate
On successful getting through the training programme, it will be issued the certificate Rescue sling training, attending rules EASA - AIR OPS - Annex III ORO.FC.230.
